On 29 October, RANDE is gathered to celebrate Mexico’s Dia de los Muertos. Coinciding with Halloween, Dia de los Muertos (day of the dead) is a time of festival, tradition and rememberance. Here in London, we be celebrated with a feast of delicious Mexican treats. Street food inspired corn salad; ceviche “prawn toast”; steak, grits & mole; and orange blossom cream pudding. YUM!
We popped up at the Parachute Collective, a Bethnal Green shoemakers’ workshop – an intimate, atmospheric setting amongst the leather, machinery and displays.
As always, guests dined at large communal tables. Mixing and mingling encouraged and fun strictly enforced.
Underground dining at it’s best.
