About RANDE Pop Up:
We take guests on a dining adventure – hunt down the front door of our home and knock with just a bit of trepidation. Stumble through and find a party awaiting.
You’ll sit around communal tables with old friends and new, bonding over the unique evening as the BYOB booze continues to flow.
The food is innovative Mexican. Always.

About Emily:
Emily is the founder / organiser / head chef of RANDE Pop Up.
Stage at Quintonil 2019.
WSET Level 2 Award in Wines.
Known as “Randy” by her friends (hence RANDE), Emily is extensively trained in the art of cooking. After acquiring an Easy Bake Oven (complete with donut making mix) age 6, she moved on to master eggs benedict at age 9.
Thereafter she learned to cook by watching her food obsessed family make and consume the most delicious meals.
Grandma Junie taught her how to knead a proper sandwich bread. Isabel dutifully showed her how to make the perfect tart. Uncle Price did lessons in pasta alla norma, smokey dhal and spear fishing. Her father taught biscuits & gravy – while her mother did lemon snow with crème anglaise.
And to finish it all off … Uncle Rick opened her eyes to food fanaticism… and, of course, margaritas!
Now THAT is a classical training at its best!
And then, in January 2019, Emily embarked on an adventure to Mexico City. Armed with her High School Spanish and a recently developed passion for Mexican Netflix dramas (Ingobernable), she entered Quintonil – currently the 9th best restaurant… in the world.
Emily survived and then thrived in one of the toughest kitchens in the world, in one of the toughest cities in the world. She emerged, blinking in the light, with an exceptional knowledge of Mexican profanities and the cooking skills and determination of a kitchen ninja.
